Rio 21 Design Lapel Pin

The upper part of the Rio 21 Design Lapel Pin ends in a coil that develops for 352º being then connected to the base part. This design concept would be impossible to be produced before the additive manufacturing methods became available. The spring acting coil proposed here was already tested in an FFF machine and worked really well. This part was imagined to be produced in SLS, although it may also be produced by FFF with soluble support. We intend to develop a second version better suited to FFF production. The idea was to get a final piece right out off the machine, but working as well as a 3 part one that requires assembling.
