RJ4JP-01-08 Igus bearing block for i3 & clones
thingiverse
Human: Igus bearing hole size is 15.2mm, shrinking down to a snug fit for the 15mm Igus bearing. A deliberate 1mm gap is left for clamping pressure, essential for proper functioning of the Igus bearings - without it, a noticeable wiggle would occur on the smooth 8mm rod. This design also allows for extra space on the drive belt side by keeping its profile low. Print with ABS or PETG to avoid deformation in case you decide to enclose your printer later. PLA can be used and will work perfectly fine too. Use an M4 bolt and nuts (hole size 4.2mm) for assembly. The design is based on the standard LM8UU block, as shown in the diagram. The double Igus bearing block features a 50mm gap between centers (outside holes). This setup fits both my Anet A8 and E3D printed hotend. Design files were created using Google Sketchup, and are included for your convenience. When remixing or modifying these files, please give credit to the original designer.
