RKG Water Diverting/Conserving Valve

This custom valve would be able to conserve water by attaching to standard plumbing supply pipes in a home, and diverting half of it to storage. The ends are threaded and would be able to fit over a standard 1/2in. plumbing pipe. The user would also be able to control the level at which water is diverted; the valve can either be left fully open and water would flow as normal, or it can be "closed" and half of the water is diverted. Because of the complex shape of the internals, the main body and blocking arm would have to be 3D printed.
