RMRC Recruit Replacement Winglet

RMRC Recruit Replacement Winglet

UPDATE! I realized that the v1 thickness was a bit too much. I have thinned out the winglet to be more suitable for the wing. If you have managed to crash your RMRC Recruit, you'll probably need to be replacing the winglets. Instead of having to buy a partial wing replacement to acquire the appropriate winglet, just print mine. The design is slightly more streamlined, with less of a tip on the topside. It is the same distance between the screws and the bottom of the winglet, so the wing will continue to sit flat on a surface. This winglet will require you to slightly mod the outside edge of your wing. Just use a utility knife to slice off the extruded area at the end. Use the existing screws to mount the winglet. I find these to be much more rigid, even though they are slightly heavier. If you don't care about the permanence of your wing, use hot glue or tape to further support the winglet. Otherwise, just rely on the screws to secure it for hot swappability (is that even a word?). Printed edge is meant to be flat for best bed adhesion. Outside edge is slightly rounded. Increase or decrease Z height for custom winglet width. Enjoy!
