Scanned with The Scan-O-Tron 3000 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:127968), ReconstructMe (http://reconstructMe.net) and an Xbox Kinect at the Great Fredini's Coney Island Scan-A-Rama booth at the 2013 World Maker Faire New York. The Great Fredini's Coney Island Scan-A-Rama is the next generation portrait studio for the 21st century! In the grand tradition of amusement part portraiture, but updated for the era of 3D printing, this popup 3D portrait studio is open weekly in Coney Island and can even appear at your event. For more information or to order prints, please visit http://www.thegreatfredini.com/scan-a-rama For best results, I recommend printing at .1 mm layer height with no support. You may have to add a few little support cylinders manually, and trim a couple bits of hanging plastic off, but you will get a better result with no support.
