• Reduced weight by reducing aluminium structural parts. • Almost all the structural parts and electronics are covered with shells (Only in few places the aluminium structural parts are visible and covering those will reduce the robots range of movements) • The design allows the robot to; Walk Improved turn while walking (on spot turning the entire body by just lifting one leg up) Crawl Get up from laying on front and back Grasp fingers to hold objects Head pan and tilt with the camera Wrist rotation to allow writing with a pen/pencil Etc… • All above movements are archived with 19 AX12/18 servos plus another 6 HXT900 micro servos for head and wrist. This unit is attached to the robot using the velcro tapes and can be easily removed when necessary.
