This robotic gripper is one of the many published.My design specs were:- the use of a full metal geared servo- pivot points to be blank shafts (DIN 7 h7 quality)- gear ratio 2- to be attached to my 6 Axis robot arm- Capable to receive a gripper force sensor (planned upgrade)You can notice that the gears and parallel arms leave a gap between the inside of the side parts. This get filled up by me during assembly with IGUS TRIBO-TAPE of 0.5 mm thickness.Most designs you see are rubbing plastic to plastic what is not that okay.There is a step file included for you to customize the gripper arm.For understanding the design I added a 3D pdf file in order for you to manipulate the assembly as well as all parts. Just open this file in acrobat reader, double klick the picture and accept to open the 3D manipulation view. Using the parts tree you can switch on and of the parts you like.Also a pdf with exploded view as well as parts list is included.
