This is a 3D Model I am using with my Robotech RPG game in Astrosynthesis as a Tirol Empire vessel before the Robotech Empire and the Zentran Space Forces leading to the Inter-colony war. The actual space ship was inspired by the Anime The Secret of Blue Water (it has a secret at the end of the series which ties into the Robotech idea). If used with Astrosynthesis the Space ship should be converted back to a .DAE file. You must follow the file format correctly or you will not be able to see the ship in Astrosynthesis. The Game Guide sets up the map and hides information, images, intelligence, and clues within the 3d program. Only the Captain is allowed to access the system for a maximum of 15 minutes. Once the Captain is done the adventure is drawn up between the Captain of the ship and his/her mission and what the Game Guide has going on. In this manor the Captain has to make decisions, come up with a plan, and have his/her team execute it. FYI... I started in Sketchup and converted the files to Blender to make them .DAE. Then I converted over to Meshmixer. In the process of playing around I found out the Sketchup part vanish. Blender to .Dae was easy. Mechmixer to Obj became of mesh density and accuracy. Parts hidden in the mesh started showing up again that were cut out of the 2nd attempt. So, this ship now comes complete with battle damage :) Lesson Learned.
