It consists of a robotic system for airbrushing, more specifically on a robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom which an industrial process of painting represents a small scale. The pieces that make up the structure mechanics are constructed entirely from aluminum and machined on a CNC vertical machining center. It has a paint exchange mechanism consists of a servo-operated valve where the plug has a hole that connects the inputs with a single output that leads to the end effector is a paint sprayer airbrush. An air compressor generates the pressure needed to operate the end effector. The actuators used in joints are servo-motor type academic standars. Elo control is performed from one interface in matlab and linked with Arduino development platform featuring a shield connection.
