Final product of a group robotics project aiming the optimization of recycling facilities. The model consists of a robot arm designed to classify objects depending on their colour. Parts included:- Workbench (in the hidden space): structure holding the camera for image treatment.- 4 d.o.f. (RRRR) Robot Arm with clamp end effector. The link between the end effector and the wrist is designed so that it is possible to change the end effector to a different one having the same holding design.The base of the arm included round rails between the two parts forming it where we placed 1cm diameter marbles which would act as a ball bearing. - Motor CAD models: we used the MG995 and SG90 servo-motor.Designed for 2D laser cutting, and finally implemented in 4mm wood veneer (video link below). This was done under very tight budgetary constraints (70 euros excluding Raspberry Pi and camera). All of the system is uploaded, but only the product of the whole system, the clamp and a couple of part examples are shown in the galery.
