Servo controlled hand. By flexing the elbow the hand will close. The servos are controlled by a servo testing unit, so no need for arduino sketch etc. The fingers hinges are connected with ptfe tube 4mm, and the small rods are fastened with petg 1.75. The servo test unit box is a remix from Alex Sahka (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35515). And the gears to move the knob for motion control are remix from elefantman (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:683389). For powering the servos and testbox i used the 4 AA battery holder by devlab (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35515) this file is included. The upper and lower arm piece are printed flat, and need some thermofolding. They were inspired by another arm design uploaded by laurah (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2066705) 3 servo MG90s servo testing box PTFE tube I will upload the final BOM and building instructions. If parts are changed i will make a notification of the uploaded/changed part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhDsKN0UFYg ------UPDATE------- If you want to print this project, but you have already made my other hand https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2171811/#files. You can use that hand for this project. Just need to print the wrist adaptor. This makes it compatible with the lower arm from this project.
