Robust Snap-Fit (3D Printable)

This feature makes it easy to snap together 3-D printed parts. It is set up to make a one-time, permanent connection, but by exposing the "tines" of the fork, it could also be possible to snap and unsnap this connection. An individual snap does a good job of resisting loads in X, Y and Z as well as rotation about the axis of the snap insertion. To make a fully rigid connection, a minimum of 3 non-collinear snaps should be used, as shown in the example.
