Rock Climbing Stick Clip Instructions Attach this carabiner holder to a long stick or tent pole to fashion a stick clip. It’s great for pre-placing draws, with or without the rope, on the first few bolts, to protect your moves off the ground. It’s also useful for dogging your way past a crux on a route. The notch captures the gate of the carabiner to keep it open, making clipping easy. Print the two parts, once printed remove the built in support in the slot of the lower portion and glue the two parts together. Velcro can be inserted into the slot to connect the stick clip to the stick.
