Rock Display Box
thingiverse
To showcase their painted rocks, a friend created an attractive display by making an 11 in x 13 in x 2.5 in clear acrylic box. The text "My Rock Collection" was raster-cut onto the sides using Box Maker for template creation and Epilog Laser for engraving. Setting the raster speed to 100, raster power to 60, vector speed to 9, vector power to 100, and vector frequency to 5000, the friend printed the parts on 3mm clear acrylic. Finally, with acrylic glue, the box was assembled, leaving the lid off for easy access.
