Remix of my rocket plane for spiral-vase-mode printing. This one has a twist-lock end plug so it can be used as a candy container. Inspired by audin's remix of my other rocket here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:591805 See make with video by The3DPrint:https://www.thingiverse.com/make:381646 Instructions The example was printed on an Orion with 1.75mm T-Glase. Printed per instructions below, it will be about 8.5 inches long, just short of the max print height of an Orion. Slic3R settings for rocket plane: Set X,Y, and Z Scale to 1.5x. Set X rotation to 90 to put rocket upright. Set Z rotation to -24 (needed for clean spiral vase slice in Slic3r) .6mm extrusion width setting (actual nozzle is .5mm), .4mm layer height, .6mm extrusion width, 10mm/s speed for all modes, Min print speed = 8mm/s Spiral vase mode, Zero infill, vertical shells: perimeters (min) = 1, 0 bottom solid layers 0 top solid layers 230C temp on the extruder, all layers 60C on bed. Auto cooling with 0%min and 30%max fan speed Enable fan if layer print time is < 60s Slow down if layer print time is < 20s Slic3r setting for end plug: Same as for rocket plane except: Layer height is .2mm Bottom solid layers = 11 Top/Bottom infill pattern = Hilbert Curve (optional)
