Rocking Poang Keyboard Tray

This is a clip on keyboard tray for Ikea Poang chairs made of TPU. This works with the rocking chair, but might work for the normal one as well if your tray is the right shape. The rocking chair has a fairly horizontal arm rest compared to the normal poang. All you need is 4 clips, a piece of wood for the tray, and 4 screws. Instructions: Print 4 clips out of TPU. We placed the clips on the chair first facing inwards, with some scotch tape, then held the tray on top. We traced the position of the clips on the underside of the wood. 1.5" robertsons wood screws to hold the brackets on the tray. To install, just press the tray on top of the arm rests. To remove, just push on the bottom of the clip inwards and lift up. Options: I've included 2 sizes of clips to provide different heights of trays. We used the 25mm ones in the photos. If you want it a little closer to arm rest height, use the smaller ones. It's a trade off between wrist angle and wiggle room. Slicer Settings The clips were TPU, about 1.2mm thick walls, 25% infill and worked pretty well. This might change depending on the material used. The TPU used was fairly stiff.
