Rod cutting jig

Simple miter box for cutting wooden dowel. The rod is supported while cutting and doesn't bind the saw blade. FreeCAD source file provided (shouldn't be too hard to adapt to different sizes). I use this jig for cutting wooden rods for the Polygon Construction Kit - http://www.michaelang.com/project/polycon Instructions Place over the edge of something you don't care about scuffing (e.g. scrap wood block). Hold rod and jig with your left hand, and cut with a jigsaw.
