These supports are to allow you to position two cardioid microphones inside a Rode Blimp at ORTF angle (110) and spacing. The shape of them is optimized to require as little support as possible during the printing process. It also utilizes 2-56 thermal set threaded inserts for attaching the shock mount, the part number is 93365A110 from McMaster Carr. Print the shock mount in elastic filament to provide vibration decoupling between the tripod and microphone.  Though I've shown a set of Sennheiser 8040s in the pictures, Rode M5's work too if you have low profile XLR connectors to plug into them. If you're using the MZL extension cables for the 8040s, you can still use this mount, and they will be much more centered within the blimp.
