The original pull-up bar mounting height on most power racks is at the very top of the rack, usually around 96". This makes the bar inaccessible to short lifters, or lifters doing weighted pull-ups. It also doesn't allow for any headroom with your average height ceilings. This design lowers the XM-43M bar about 13.5" from the original mounting point. The Sketchup file contains all the measurements you will need for the metalworking, and there is an optional STL provided for 3D printing a bolt adapter (since the XM-43M takes 1" bolts, and some racks, like the Fortis pictured, have 5/8" holes on the front upright). Normal Monster racks can just use 1" hardware. The main down-tube will require 3"x3" square metal tubing, while the upper brackets require 1/8" or 1/4" thick flat metal stock. You will need to buy additional hardware to fill all bolt holes.
