Roller Fidgit

Roller Fidgit

thingiverse

Inspired by the fidgit combined ball bearing and gimbal toy this one uses stepped roller bearings to get round the problem of printing balls. Print in FINE - it is designed for a 0.18mm layer height. Most of the rollers will come loose just by rotating the innermost circle, the few that don't can be persuaded using the slots or just nudged with a fine screwdriver. A little lubricant woks wonders and makes it fly. The openSCAD source has several tuneables and the gimbals and bearing race are easily separated and customised - enjoy!
