A 3D photogrammetric scan of a Roman shipwreck discovered off the coast of the island of Scedro in Croatia reveals new insights into ancient maritime history. The detailed 3D model was created by Mariusz Milka, showcasing the intricate design of the vessel. Photographs documenting the wreck were taken by Mariusz Milka, Piotr Stós, and Ewelina Heil during a series of dives supported by Nautica Vis Diving Centre. Leading the archaeological project is Tea Katunarić from the University of Split Arts Academy, whose expertise has been instrumental in uncovering the secrets of the Roman shipwreck. Funding for this groundbreaking research was provided by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, Općina Jelsa Online, and Friends of Scedro Island, a testament to collaborative efforts between local authorities, organizations, and enthusiasts dedicated to preserving history and promoting cultural heritage in the region.
