Room Status Flag System
thingiverse
Ever need a system to communicate to others what's happening in a room with closed doors? Room Indicator Flags use multi-colored flags to signal exam room status, keeping everyone informed. The flag system works well for us - one flag designates when a patient is ready to be seen, while a red flag indicates the physician is in the room with a patient. Each technician has their own color and it's put out when they're in the room. This simple system works great for us! Mount the flags on the wall outside a door or other location and use them to convey information to others in the workplace or elsewhere. The holes in the flag holder base make it easy to mount on the wall. A flag system could be created for many uses, I'm sure. I've added bases (flag holders) that can hold 1 to 8 flags. You can print flags in any color and as many as needed. To give flags a customized look, simply add text to them. I hope this is helpful! * The text was added using Tinkercad - once I learn how to use Customizer, I'll try making it an option. Thanks for the suggestion! * Pins are tight when inserting into the base, so it's best to put flags in without screws before mounting on the wall. The base is flexible and can be bowed backward to help pins slide in easier prior to mounting.
