THIS IS A REMIX Originators: Shoutout to Crick60 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3838117 Shoutout to Jimmac: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3604322 (i just manipulated what they did to fit my needs) although my changes are heavy, they are still the originators. See it at work: https://youtu.be/1dK0xlMdcw8 Printing info: V1: slice with the back of GoPro housing flush to the print bed. (you may need to rotate 99 degrees as opposed to 90. V3 Should already be rotated. I used Sainsmart TPU. What i did: (for V1) 1) Rotated the GoPro housing -9 degrees Crick60 was -1deg. this makes a total of -10 degrees. since the Armattan Rooster camera plate is fixed at 35 degrees, this makes the GoPro be at 25deg(how i have my FPV camera and like to fly) 2) swapped smaller dampener arms to the front and larger to the back. because it made sense. 3)added SDCard Door Opening because i hate taking the GoPro out of the housing to do that... im lazy i guess... or i like convenience. 4)Various other geometry fixes and mesh cleanups to allow for manipulation 1-thru-3 above, and to allow better slicing V2... was not good, tossed it. !!! V3 !! implemented the following: 5) Fixed orientation of STL to recommended print orientation. 6) I was not totally happy with the orientation of the print for the base portion (where the CF plate slides into). it was not very secure in the case of a crash. I used nylon zip ties to strengthen the mount as shown in the picture. the raised fins on the V3 base keep the zip ties in place. 7) V1 mount inherited the issue from Crick60's model where the mount screws are UNTER the base. so for V3 I redesigned the whole darn base. It's perfect now. no more fiddling with screws as they are now accessible straightaway. 8) IMPORTANT!!! use some foam!!! the piece shown in pictures is 10mm thick and from tattu lipo packaging. cut it into a roughly 46x46mm square. fold it twice into a smaller square and stuff it under the camera as shown in pics... this provides good dampening. (makes it a proper spring-damper system after the foam is added) Enjoy!
