<h1>Update with Metal-Stepper-Mounts for the Y-Axis coming soon!!</h1> UPDATE: I have started to build the machine myself and found myself with some obvious flaws!!! I will release the new and improved desgins in combination with the metal-stepper-mount version, until then I urge you to not print this stuff unless you want struggles. My Attempt at a Leadscrew Mod for the Root 3 CNC. It was modelled in Fusion360 with the big help of the 3D Model made by nntuan (pls check the "remixed from" section). DISCLAIMER: I CANT guarantee that this design will work, as I havent built it yet. I will update here if it works. The Files are the entire changed model as well as the parts that are different to the original. The Mod is made for the Nema 23 Stepper Motors mentioned in the Root 3 CNC Bill of materials (https://rootcnc.com/machines/root-3/bill-of-materials/) To make this mod work you'll need following parts: 2x - T8x2 Leadscrew [Length of your Y-Axis Box Section] 1x - T8x2 Leadscrew [Length of your X-Axis Box Section] 3x - T8x2 Anti Backlash Nuts with dimensions like the last picture 3x - 608 Bearings (If you convert from the original you should already have some spares) Loooots of Screws, mostly M5, sadly different Types.
