Rosenberger N-Type 11 GHz Coaxial 17.5mm 4-Hole Flange Connector

This is a model of a Rosenberger N-Type Coaxial 1" 4-Hole Flange Connector ( p/n : 53K413-500N5 )that is good up to 11 GHz. The flange is 17.5mm square with an 12.7mm hole pattern. Note that this is smaller that other N-type coax connectors with 25.4mm flanges with 18.2mm hole patterns ! Also the body diameter after the threads is also smaller and this needs to be understood.There is a 15 mm extended Teflon insulator that covers up to 17.9 mm center conductor with a 1.7 mm diameter.This style of connector is useful for waveguides and horn antennas where the center conductor is cut to a 1/4 wavelength of the frequency of interest. The starting frequency is 2 MHz and can go up to the maximum rating of this connector at 11 GHz (-3 dB) with a length of 1.67 cm (full wavelength). Note this does not include material thickness !
