Small section in a coastal meadow at Rosendal havsbad in Halland, W Sweden. The stratified appearance reflects alternation between greyish laminated fine-medium sand and yellowish coarse sand. The latter is interpreted to be deposited by waves during storms and these beds increase in frequency and thickness upwards in the section. This site has been investigated within the research project "[Storm surges in Sweden: reconstruction based on geological records](https://portal.research.lu.se/en/projects/storm-surges-in-sweden-reconstruction-based-on-geological-records/)".
