This bracket holds a 12mm thick (or less) fan by the corner with the fan wires fed down through the middle of it. Its base fits in the hole in the platform for the two doors on a Rostock Max printer and lets you rotate it to point it at different parts of your print. Since there are two free holes in the platform, you can add two of these to the platform to cool objects from different sides. It protrudes a little bit through the platform to block the door so you can't close the door and pinch the fan wires. I originally wanted the fan to be held in the bracket just by friction but that didn't turn out so well so I added a hole that lets you stick a screw through the corner to attach the fan to the bracket. Edit: I've added an STL for a 20mm thick fan (or change the SCAD file to the exact size you need). Instructions I created it in OpenSCAD and then imported the STL file into Sketchup to clean it up. To print it, flip it upside down. Edit: If you need one of these fans then you probably will need one or two more blowing from different directions. For models that need it, I've found that the side with the fan blowing on it will come out perfect and the other sides will show indications of melting. Also, I've noticed when printing above the level where this fan blows, there'll be signs of melting. Probably, a fan that is attached to the print head and blows on where it currently printing is needed to solve the problem -- and that is what I'm currently working on.
