Rostock Max V2 Dual Extruder Kit

These are the pieces I designed to use with the Rostock Max V3 Dual Extruder kit to put it on your Rostock Max V2. This includes a new mounting plate for both extruders, as well as a new dual spool holder design. No drilling is required, however drilling another hole in the top plate for the second extruder is preferred. You can however use the unused screw hole from the original spool holder as a feed hole if you desire, but I did not test if it works through that hole but it looks like it would work. The spool holder pieces can fit a 1 inch pipe/dowel/etc. as the rod or you can print the one I included. The added extruder wiring can be run down a side of one of the tower extrusions or can be routed through the clip that attaches to the tower rail on the top and bottom (2 pieces in total) and keeps the wiring out of the way of the carriage. Print Amounts: 1x: Dual Spool Holder A, Dual Spool Holder B, Dual Extruder Mount, Spool Rod 2x: Extruder Mount Nut Block, Wire Clip I have included a picture of the orientation of all the pieces and their amounts for printing. Print Settings Printer: Core XY Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20-40% Notes: I printed these pieces out of PLA. It may be worthwhile to print the extruder mount out of abs or petg if your extruder motors get hot. Support is needed for the Spool holders pieces to support the "U" sections.
