Rostock rod length calibrator

Rostock rod length calibrator

thingiverse

This is a calibration print designed to test the rod length settings, and compensate for wall thickness errors. To print: print with 1-2 perimeters, and no fill/top/bottom (they're not needed). DO NOT REMOVE FROM THE BED (or make a note which way the arm with the circle faces) as it matters which arms correspond to each tower. To use: measure the distance from the outside of one of the squares to the opposite side of the center hexagon. Also measure the outside of that same square to the inside of that same square. The difference between those two should be 100 mm (i.e. if you measure the square at 10.3 mm, the overall distance should be 110.3 mm). The distance from one square to the opposite square, measuring the outsides, should be 200 mm. The measurements of the arms closest to and furthest from each tower, can be used to verify the rod length for that tower.
