Rota Board

Rota Board

This design is based on a Youtube-tutorial by the channel Make Anything, link to tutorial video below. I made this in order to get into 3D-modeling with Fusion 360 and thought I'd share the results. Rota is an ancient traditional 1v1 tabletop game where the objective is to get 3 of your pieces in a row. Each player gets 3 pieces and takes turns introducing them to the board. Once all pieces are on the board, the players take turns moving one of their pieces. Each piece can only move one step per round and cannot cross other pieces (goes for both own pieces and opponents). The first player to get 3 in a row wins. In order to assemble this you'll need a total of 15 magnets (6mm diameter, 3mm thick), one magnet for each game piece (6 total) and one magnet for each circle on the board (9 total). See cross-section for instructions on assembly.
