Rotary Dial Pointer

Rotary Dial Pointer

thingiverse

--I invented this 30 years ago and had 'em injection molded. I decided it needed a small tweak and 3D printing is cheaper than getting another die made. This snaps onto the feed dial of just about every knee mill in the world. The little keeper snaps on the bottom and provides tension to hold the pointer in place. Pointer will rotate with the dial and provides good visibility to know when to stop. It can be pushed to a new location with finger pressure but it will hold fast even when stepper drives are used. Print part DM_A with indicator pointing up and use support 'touching buildplate'. Support is minimal and will pop off with a small screwdriver. Part DM_B doesn't need support.
