I am a telecom engineer by profession. So designing a telephone to hold my phone seemed like the right thing to do! It's wide enough to hold a phone in an Otter Box case. But also tall enough to hold a tablet. There is not a lot of adjustment for angle, but most devices we've used fit nicely at the right angle.
