<p>RotaTable is a rotating platform for 3D scanning with Kinect, David3D, or Laser-Line-Scanners. It can also be used as a simple rotating display stand or adapted to be used for photogrammetry.</p><p>The Firmware for controlling the plate together with David 3D is available at&nbsp;<a href="https://github.com/fluetke/RotaTable">https://github.com/fluetke/RotaTable</a></p><p>Feel&nbsp;free&nbsp;to&nbsp;improve and&nbsp;adjust&nbsp;it.</p><p>You might want to add a bit of grease to the ball bearing and a bit of foam to the interior to dampen the sound.</p><h3><strong>Materials and methods</strong></h3><p>- 60x30x0.4cm sheet of poplar plywood&nbsp;<br>- 60x30x0.5cm sheet of MDF&nbsp;<br>- stepper motor&nbsp;<br>- stepper motor driver&nbsp;<br>- 12V/2A DC powersupply&nbsp;<br>- 40-42x10mm steel balls&nbsp;<br>- 20xM3 10mm screws&nbsp;<br>- 30xM3 16mm screws&nbsp;<br>- 60xM3 nuts&nbsp;<br>- 4xM2.5 25mm screws&nbsp;<br>- 4xM2.5 nuts&nbsp;<br>- 50x5mm steel rod&nbsp;<br>- can of black spraypaint&nbsp;<br>- fork-light-barrier sensor&nbsp;<br>- Arduino Uno (or other Arduino compatible microcontroller)<br>- rotary-encoder wth switch&nbsp;<br>- 16x2 LCD Display&nbsp;<br>- M3/M4 maggot screw&nbsp;<br>- 3x 10k Ohm Resistors&nbsp;<br>- switching transistor&nbsp;<br>- 3.5mm audio jack&nbsp;<br>- wiring, prototyping boards, etc.</p>
