Update 5/27/19: Dry the desiccant loaded in the lid for over 12 hours at 50 degrees C and the lid won't warp, not even after repeated drying sessions. Give up on the PLA spool hub adapter now that I'm using the one for Taulman spools exclusively, no more squeaking sounds. ******************************* A rotating dry box designed specifically for CR-10 printers but adaptable to any printer with some modifications. Used to keep nylon filament dry when prints take a day or more to complete while allowing the dry box to spin freely as the printed model increases in height. Designed to hold up to four different filament spools currently: Taulman's older style 1lb, Taulman's newer style 1lb, Taulman's 1kg, and WYZworks' 1kg PLA. Add any spool that is approximately 209mm OD or less by creating a simple adapter hub. The inside diameter of the housing is 209.9mm. (dia of spool + dia of filament on that spool should equal 209mm or less due to how a spool of filament is loaded) Holds 40 packets of 2g rechargeable desiccant (1.5" x .85").
