Rotating platform with actuator (e.g. for timelapse photography)
thingiverse
The system consists of a 5cm radius platform connected to a 3-arm actuator, which is powered by a stepper motor with a 5mm coupler. This setup rests on a foamboard base and includes three small bearings for smoother movement. Control of the gear stepper motor, featuring 2048 steps per rotation, is facilitated via an Arduino board. This device can be used to create rotating timelapse videos as demonstrated in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jKaOVkcicg
