<h3>The popular Rotating Rings Toy now as a cabinet knob</h3><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I liked the design of Marvin's rotating ring toys. So why not use it as Cabinet/Drawer knob?</p><p>Added a support rod with a hole of Ø3,7mm, 10mm deep so that a bolt of M4 or a screw Ø4 can be directly screwed in. (if necessary or desired with the use of a bolt, you can tap it yourself with a tap M4).</p><p>I left the model at 100% to make sure the rings rotate freely.&nbsp;</p><p>I have added a 2nd model in which the outer ring is omitted (number of moving rings is then 3 instead of 4). As a result, the knob comes out at Ø50, which I personally find a nice size, without sacrificing too much on the function and/or the design. A separate ring has been added as an STL file so you can use it as a negative volume to remove the outer ring. See also the available project.</p><p>Feel free to scale. You can use below table as reference.</p><figure class="table" style="width:509pt;"><table><tbody><tr><td style="background-color:#9BBB59;border-bottom:1.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;height:21.0pt;width:49pt;"><strong>Scale</strong></td><td style="background-color:#9BBB59;border-bottom:1.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;width:86pt;"><strong>Knob</strong></td><td style="background-color:#9BBB59;border-bottom:1.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;width:51pt;"><strong>Hole</strong></td><td style="background-color:#9BBB59;border-bottom:1.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;width:63pt;"><strong>Bolt</strong></td><td style="background-color:#9BBB59;border-bottom:1.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right-style:none;border-top-style:none;width:260pt;"><strong>Remark:</strong></td></tr><tr><td style="background-color:#D7E4BC;border-bottom:.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;height:19.5pt;">75%</td><td style="background-color:#D7E4BC;border-bottom:.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;">Ø37.5/Ø45&nbsp;</td><td style="background-color:#D7E4BC;border-bottom:.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;">Ø2,8</td><td style="background-color:#D7E4BC;border-bottom:.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right:.5pt solid white;border-top-style:none;">M3</td><td style="background-color:#D7E4BC;border-bottom:.5pt solid white;border-left-style:none;border-right-style:none;border-top-style:none;">If necessary, use smaller layer height.
