Rotation Stopper Challenge Mk2

Rotation Stopper Challenge Mk2

This is my second attempt - a truly adjustable bracket which will adapt to pretty much any frame design or dimensions. It is intended to be made from folded 3mm Mild Steel / Stainless with turned spacer tubes, two of which incorporate rubber sleeves to protect the bike paintwork. The fixings to the motor are shown as via spacer tubes, but could of course be folded as per the original (That's just laziness on my part!) The three main parts - rotation plate plus left & right arms sandwich together, held in place with M6 Stainless fasteners (not shown). The left & right arms share the same flat pattern, but each having the bends reversed (which lowers production cost a little!). Parts are intended to be laser cut. The length of the arms was determined to minimise the incident force on the bike frame. The lengths of the arms may need to be adjusted to take account of other fixings such as your 'water bottle' Battery carrier or chain-wheel gear shift (if they are compatible with your motor assembly).
