Round birdhouse

Round birdhouse

thingiverse

Simple birdhouse that should have the proper dimensions for small birds like wrens, chickadees, downy woodpeckers and some finches. It's built in three parts that friction-fit together: bottom, middle and top. You need all three to make the birdhouse. Mine fit together so tightly that I probably won't need to glue it. On the back are two slots to use to hang it on a tree or pole. The holes in the bottom aren't for mounting, but for drainage. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 2 - Base Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Notes: I needed to use a brim on the middle section. If you have a bigger printer than mine, you could print it in two pieces by increasing the height of the bottom. Post-Printing Friction-fit the three pieced together and hang it using the holes in the back. How I Designed This I used OpenSCAD - files included.
