ALL THE PIECES IN THE MAIN PHOTO HAVE BEEN MADE USING THESE FILES AND SCALING IN THE SLICER SOFTWARE I print and build 1/10 scale cars & hot rods. There have been occasions where I have wanted tubes or axle bushes but could not find appropriate content here, except for a good contribution with rectangular tubing. The variations on bush or tube dimensions are endless, so I have included 28 variations which will cover a lot of jobs. HOW TO SELECT YOUR BUSH - Say you want a bush to sit in a 9.00mm hole and have an ID of 4.00mm to put an axle through. Divide the OD (9.00) by the ID (4.00), which gives a result of 2.25. This means you need a bush with a ratio of 1.000 to 2.250, which is in the collection. Once you load it in your slicer program, use X and Y scaling to first bring the OD of the bush to suit your purpose, and the ID will change to match, then change the Z dimension to then suit your required bush length. These bushes are not flanged so if you need flanging on your bush, you'll have to CA or epoxy an appropriate washer to the end of your bush to act as the flange. HOW TO MAKE A ROUND TUBE - This is similar to the above. Say you want a 1/10 scale version of 2.0" waterpipe. This tube would be 5.00mm ID and 6.00mm OD. When you divide the OD by the ID you get a ratio of 1.000 to 1.200. Select this stl file, then once again scale the X & Y dimensions to 6.00mm, which sets the ID and OD of your tube. Now scale the Z dimension to whatever length tube you require. You now decide whther you wish to print it upright, or laying down (laying down will give greater torsional strength) Should your calculated ratio not match those in the available files, try to use the closest ratio and make up for it with drilling the ID or gluing the OD. If you are desperate for a bush of specific design, drop me a message and I'll produce an stl file for you, BUT, a) don't ask me to design a flanged bush, and b) please don't inundate me with special orders, as I have other things to achieve than spending all my time designing a plethera of specific bushes.
