In my building the NBN fibre modem attaches to the wall in the wardrobe. There is power nearby, and also patch points to take Ethernet to other places in the flat. You need your router nearby, but if it rests on the shelf, I have a mess of cables. What if I could attach the router TO the NBN fibre modem. This thing is a bracket so you can hang your router off the NBN fibre modem. The size of the bracket was going to be bigger than the print area of my printer, so I made it in 2 sections that clip together. You will want 2 of part 1, and 2 of part 2. Edit: I found that the original design was not quite strong enough. Over time the pieces bent. (I suspect the fact that the router is hot didn't help.) The updated one has pieces that are 7mm thick, rather than 5mm. I recommend printing with 25% infill. ## Customising I have included the OpenSCAD file in case you would like to customise it. If you have an NBN fibre modem with inbuilt PSU, the dimensions are going to be pretty much the same as mine, but you might want to change the dimensions to suit your router. Piece 1 is the top section of the clip that hangs off the NBN box. It needs to be sized to fit the NBN box. The cover is not an even width, but 62mm should fit on both sides quite well. Piece 2 is the bottom section that your router sits in. It needs to be sized to fit your router. I have a TG-789 which is about 33mm thick.
