The direct driver extruder mount for the rp3d.com Pangu i3 Wooden Reprap only uses two horizontally separated screw mounts, the weight of the motor can cause the extruder to sit at a slight angle towards the back of the printer at a slight angle. This simple support strap clips around the motor and down around the lower bearing to pull the assembly properly vertical and tight against the X axis carriage. It's important to note that there isn't much clearance when the X axis homes, ensure that the support strap is flush to the right-most edge of the lower bearing holder so it won't contact the left side of the frame when the X homes. I printed at 0.4mm with 15% rectilinear infill in PLA and it seems to be good enough to do the job. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/31WaAzKPh6z
