RR10 Bomber Hood

<p>Basically its an axial bomber hood with a big ol' motor sticking out of it.</p> <p>I use an older version I made that I had to grind away a bunch of material on, hopefully this one doesn't need any grinding.</p> <p>The front kind of clips on, but mine broke, The 2 body clips hold it well enough for me. Maybe I printed it too fast and had bad layer adhesion, maybe I need to make the front thicker...</p> <p>Maybe if some one who posts a make and shows enough interest to comment and let me know I'll change it.</p> <p>Not totally sure how well this will fit. Maybe you should print it and let us know.</p> <p>8/2/2018: This new Baja version has more material removed for you but its still too tight and material needs ground away. mostly around the shock hoops I think. Probably wait to print this till I make a new version. Cause even if you mount it I think it will bind when you try to open the hood.</p> <p>8/6/2018: Added a hood that has some support added, you still need to support parts of the motor. Uses stock mounting points. You need to grind the front corners off some to get the thing to open. But this one is pretty good. Also added one with out support for people with better printers then me.</p> <p>I also added an untested hood with no supports, I think It may open, but I haven't tried it. as I am happy with the previous one I printed.</p> <p>11/16/2018 added more hoods all labeled v3 these are printer friendly. some have mounting holes. these are untested but should work. also the v3 have a different fender curve, I think will look better.</p> <p>11/20/2018 Removed v3 and added v3.1 prints can be removed stand easier, all have mounting holes now, some have print supports mostly added, the blower needs to have support added and have been tested, fit is good.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>You will need supports under the air scoop. so enable supports from model.</p></div> Category: R/C Vehicles
