I had x 2 Plastic deep groove ball bearings (7 x 22 x 7) laying around that I wanted to use, my children like bath toys and the ones on the market today are boring so I thought I would make a rubber band powered submarine. The hull on this one is my second attempt, the first was a simple tube which worked well but it sank like a stone. Print Settings Printer Brand: 3D Systems Printer: Cube X Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% for Props & 25% for Body Notes: Kisslicer was used with CubeIT Skin thickness 1.5mm 2 loops 5mm x 0.5mm brim Medium support Post-Printing Assembley Push fit the bearings into the either end of the body after cleaning up. Assemble x 1 prop with an narrow rubber band. Tread the band through the bearings and repeat the above for the other prop. The band needs to be under tension to hold the props in position. You might need to adjust print settings to get the C of G and buoyancy right but mine works well.
