Rubbermaid desiccant box

Desiccant boxes contoured to fit the bottom of Rubbermaid 21 cup storage containers.

This was designed for the translucent containers containers work. However, I was able to confirm it also fits Zylar containers if you can still find them.

Two boxes fill the bottom of the container and sit flat with only a little gap in the long direction. I would recommend using PETG or ABS for a little more heat resistance in the dehydrator.

Each box holds approximately 60 grams of 2-4mm diameter silica gel desiccant. Box tops should be secured with an M3 x 8mm screw and nut.

Print Settings

Printer: Prusa I3 MK3S

Resolution: 0.15

Infill: 15% gyroid

Filament: eSun PETG Natural

Notes:

I originally intended to use supports for the M3 nut socket and you'll see them in the MK2S PLA prints. However, I forgot to enable them for the MK3S PETG prints. It turned out fine anyway(if a little messy) anyway.
