Entry for the Stratasys 'Make it real' competition. Designed by Matthew Doolan, Aymon Martin, and Daniel Barker.The design is a Rubik's cube for the visually impaired. Based upon the icon Rubik’s cube puzzle, this design has the addition of extruded shapes on the tiles, as well as the standard colouring. The shapes are on tiles which are 26 x 26mm, making them large enough to be easily identifiable for the user.The design is intended to be 3D printed as an assembly, on the Stratasys J750, utilising 4 different materials, and 7 different colours. The estimated print time in High Mix mode is 15 hours 21 minutes, and utilises a total of 1594g of material.
