This is a tight fitting bolt puller for Ruger 22/45 Lite type pistols. As we all know, the Ruger 22/45 has some very sharp edges around where the bolt protrudes. This often leads to cuts or blood blisters if one tries to follow the bolt home with their fingers. This Bolt Puller is sort of a hybrid design between the Tandemkross and Volquartsen bolt pullers. This design requires makers to both tap and thread the clamp and puller respectively. This design is sized for 1/4-20 threading. So you will need a 1/4-20 tap and die for post processing this part. I also advise printing at 100% infill since the stud on the puller is likely to shear off when you try to thread it if it is hollow with a lesser infill. If you have any questions about the part, or if you would like to request a different thread size from 1/4-20, let me know in the comment section and I'll see what I can do. UPDATE By request I just recently added a Tactical Solutions style side charging handle option. See the files section. This one shouldn't require any tapping or threading or any other post processing like the others. However you should probably print it with supports "WHERE TOUCHING BUILD PLATE". Let me know how it works for you. Print Settings Printer: MakerFarm Prusa i3v Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 100 Notes: Print with the studs up in the air and with the clamp on its side. Post-Printing Thread/tap with 1/4-20 tap and die. The clamp is a little tricky to slip into position on the bolt. But it can be done by starting it rotated about 45 degrees off from its final position and carefully engaging both sides of the clamp on the bolt ears. Once it is started it can be turned the rest of the way with some pliers or an adjustable wrench. Just be careful not to scratch your pistol with any tools you use.
