I’ve always liked the looks of the Ruger. I did some research on all the version I could find. The Mark I (WW2) Mark II, Mark III and Mark IV I leaned a bit more towards the Mark I at first but added elements from the Mark IV which made it look a bit more like the Mark II but a tad bit more modern. But that looked weird, so I decided to make the Mark IV completely Modeled comepletely in Maya 2018. I worked in 3 Mode for the most part. While a lot of these parts were built using primitives and booleans and I mean a lot a lot booleans, parts like the grip, trigger and trigger ring were made using the quad-draw tool. Sometimes I get a better result when I decide the shape of a primitive rather than reshape something. Next work I’m working on the Game Res.
