Rummy O Rack

Rummy O Rack

thingiverse

Rummy O uses domino-sized tiles with numbers and colours to form sequences. It is played on a tabletop. Each player starts with 14 tiles and must pick up another if they are not able to make a move. The game comes with a vertical rack to hold the tiles out-of-view of the opponent(s). However, it is top heavy and the legs provided are flimsy, poor-fitting and, inevitably, tips over—spilling the tiles in the middle of the game. It can be frustrating. This design lies flat on the table and has 4 slots—each of which accommodates 6 tiles—for a total of 24. The slots hold the tiles vertically so the player can see them easily but the opponent(s) cannot. Since there can be up to 4 players in the game, I have printed 4 racks. In my experience, the game has become much more enjoyable with the addition of these holders.
