A quick and easy printable version of the logic game Rush Hour.

Designed so it can be printed as quickly as possible, without the need for post-processing, maintaining a satisfactory slide of the pieces, and a good quality finish.

It is also designed to print well on the Prusa MK2S 0.35mm FAST profile, Prusa MK3S 0.30mm DRAFT profile, and Prusa MINI 0.25mm DRAFT profile, although it can be printed with a lower layer height at the cost of a longer printing time.

You can find the different starting positions online, for example you can generate a random one on this website, made by Michael Fogleman with his great work done about the game.

I've included a magnetic version and a version without magnets, in case you don't have magnets and want to save some printing time.

The magnetic version uses 72 5x1mm circular neodymium magnets. The magnets are a snap fit and should not move once inserted. I have used a wooden chopstick to help me insert them. You have to pay close attention to the polarity because once inserted they are very difficult to remove without damaging the printed part.

The board is included in two versions, one of them with hidden magnets in case you prefer to print it that way. In this case, you must place a pause (M601) on the first layer after 5.8mm to insert the magnets.

I've also included the model I used during design tests, as I found it very satisfying as a fidget, in case you want to print it to tinker with it or to test tolerances.

Finally, I want to thank Katarn for his ideas and for printing some test versions with his magnets and printer.
