Russian АЧС MIG Clock Stand

Russian АЧС MIG Clock Stand

Russian "MIG" cockpit clocks are popular desk items, so I designed this stand to allow it to be displayed in style. These clocks are properly known as "АЧС" for the (Russian) model number, but they're also sometimes referred to as "MIG clocks" since they are designed for use in Russian jets including many MIG models, and with the Anglicized "A4C" name. There are a few models, "АЧС-1", "АЧС-1M", and "АЧС-1MN". All are hand-wound and include one or two stopwatches. The electric terminals on the back operate a warmer in the case which is not needed in a desk accessory. More information on these clocks is available on [Grail Watch](http://grail-watch.com): [Russian “MIG” Clock For Your Desk](http://grail-watch.com/2018/04/02/russian-mig-clock-for-your-desk/) My stand is designed to hold the clock securely using the original bracket, as seen in the rear photo above. I recommend adding rubber feet to the bottom, though the clock itself is heavy enough to keep it in place. The inscription reads "ВРЕМЯ ПОЛЕТА" or "Flight Time", which is also typically printed at 12:00 on the dial. I added a couple of "screws" to give it a more utilitarian feel, and recommend printing it in gray or sliver like mine. This thing was made with Tinkercad.
